Why do the tips of herbaceous plants turn brown?

If you notice this detail on the leaves, it may be due to the following reasons.
Spider plant is a very popular plant, even in apartments, because it is easy to grow and is known primarily for its long, pointed leaves.

One of the most common problems is leaf tips drying out, which eventually turn brown. There are several possible causes.
Let’s take a closer look and learn how to deal with them.

Stress: If you recently purchased a herbaceous plant or drastically changed its environment, the plant may be affected. In these cases, this is a natural process; after a few days of adaptation, the plant will recover.
Water: When watering herbaceous plants, it’s crucial to find the right balance. Too much or too little water can be detrimental to its health. For this reason, it’s important to choose well-draining soil and only water when the soil is completely dry.
Fluoride: This is a very common component of tap water and is not suitable for watering herbaceous plants. For this reason, distilled water should be used for watering.

Temperature: Spider plants adapt very easily to indoor conditions, and their ideal temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius. As temperatures rise, for example in summer, spider plants’ leaves begin to dry out. In this case, repot the plant in a bright spot, but away from direct sunlight. You should also regularly mist the leaves with water to maintain adequate moisture.
Fertilization: Fertilizers are beneficial for plants because they provide essential nutrients. However, high doses are not necessary for spider plants: choose organic and natural fertilizers, which should be applied every three months
