Kelly has worked for several Republican campaigns in her past, as well as in communications for lawmakers and state party groups. She is a strong candidate for the role.
The Fairfax, Virginia, native graduated from Auburn University in 2017. She majored in political science and was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. She then did a Master’s in Political Management from George Washington University
.In 2019, she won the Miss State Fair of Virginia title. Her title shows she has experience with public speaking and being in the limelight, qualities the role of White House Press Secretary will require.
However, Anna Kelly is not the only candidate rumored to be up for consideration for the role. Other rumored candidates include Taylor Rogers, Liz Huston, and Kush Desai. All of them have the necessary background to take on the role.
