A number is hidden in this optical illusion, and not everyone perceives it in the same way. Check 1st comment

Why is it so hard to see?

This is a classic example of a contrast sensitivity illusion. The numbers are hidden behind those high-frequency zig-zag patterns. Your brain struggles to distinguish the faint gray lines of the numbers from the high-contrast black and white lines of the circle.

Tips for revealing the numbers:

If you are having trouble seeing all seven digits, try these tricks:

  • Scroll away: Moving the image up and down quickly can help your eyes catch the edges of the numbers.

  • Zoom out: Shrinking the image makes the pattern less overwhelming, allowing the numbers to “pop.”

  • Tilt your screen: Changing the viewing angle often increases the perceived contrast of the hidden layer.

What you might see vs. the reality:

Most people see “528” or “45283” at first glance. It’s the outer digits (3 at the beginning and 39 at the end) that are the hardest to spot because they blend into the densest parts of the spiral.

The “exact number” hidden in this optical illusion is 3452839.
