WHISK MILK WITH VINEGAR! A FORGOTTEN RECIPE FROM THE 70s!

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml warm milk

  • 1 tablespoon grape vinegar

  • 25 g fresh yeast

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

  • 1 egg white

  • 80 ml vegetable oil

  • Flour (add enough to make a soft, elastic dough)

Filling:

The dough is filled with processed cheese.

If you prefer sweet buns, you can use jam, chocolate spread, or boiled sweetened condensed milk instead.

Instructions:

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dough:

In a deep bowl, combine the warm milk and vinegar.

Add sugar, yeast, vegetable oil, vanilla sugar, and flour. Whisk everything together. Once the whisk becomes difficult to use, knead the dough by hand.

The dough should be firm but very elastic.

Place it in a deep bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 40 minutes.

2. Shape the Buns:

Once the dough has risen, divide it into small equal pieces.

Place a piece of processed cheese inside each one and arrange them on a baking sheet. Place them close together.

Cover with a towel and let them rise for another 20 minutes.

3. Bake:

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes.

4. Finishing Touch:

Pour sweetened condensed milk over the finished buns.

These buns turn out soft, fluffy, and comforting — just like in childhood. đŸ˜Š
